The endless river traffic of the Mississippi is the main attraction at TOM SAWYER’S. The atmosphere is relaxed, laid back and peaceful while the RV Park is clean, well maintained and totally natural.
The view of the sun rising over The Mississippi River is rivaled only by the full moon rising in the fall. Plenty of trails and wildlife compliment the nicely mowed fields and long, level concrete sites. Across the River is unspoiled Tennessee flood plain and just one bend upstream is the Memphis skyline. If it’s fishing you are looking for then look no further since we have a lake and two ponds stocked with an amazing array of fish.
Tom Sawyer's is only a few very convenient miles on a smooth, new road from both I-40 and I-55 as well as 15 minutes from all the great action in a resurgent Downtown Memphis or 25 minutes from Graceland if you've never been!
Our RV sites are easy access pull-throughs with 30 or 50 amp power, city water and city sewer. We have over 2 dozen concrete sites and you can choose from the shade of the woods or the edge of the river for your visit. A brand new river front section should be completed in 2007 with sites designed specifically for the 5th wheels so that the large rear and right hand side windows overlook the Mississippi River
Come in and visit our store for fun Tom Sawyer merchandise including visors, fishing hats, tote bags and of course T-shirts in many styles and colors. We also have gifts for the kids/grandkids. To quench your thirst or to fill your ice chest we sell soda, ice and water. To keep those pesky bugs away, we also have mosquito repellant and itch cream if you are too late. We are currently expanding our store to better serve our guests’ needs and hope to have even more essentials available in the future.
